Profile

Pierre McLean brings over three decades of experience in commercial real estate capital markets with a specialized focus on stressed, transitional and distressed U.S. CRE and a complementary niche in Caribbean hospitality. Formal academic training includes a Master’s in Real Estate from Georgetown University and a BSBA in Real Estate from Thomas Edison State College. He has sat on both sides of the table as a capital advisor and real estate principal. That perspective enables him to evaluate not only financing structures, but also sponsor execution, capital alignment and transaction risk.

Born in Brooklyn, raised in Jamaica and rooted in an Afro-Cuban heritage, Pierre brings a cultural fluency that informs how he builds trust, structure deals and connect capital with complex opportunities.

His approach is grounded in discretion, trust, and alignment, qualities that consistently resonate with a diverse pool of capital partners and sponsors seeking capital beyond the mainstream.

Pierre is not just a capital intermediary. In select cases, he participates as a strategic co-GP or invests discretionary capital bringing skin in the game and long-cycle vision to the table.

He prefers to move in silence.
