The nature of mixed use properties affords the combining of different real estate purposes at a location which could diversity the income stream within the confines of the properties' fiscal component due to different market and competitive forces affecting different tenant categories.  There are lenders that find this real estate property type attractive and provide financing if the funding request is supported by the lenders' underwriting criteria.
